Privacy policy
K67 collects no personal information. Your progress stays on your phone, and we never see it.
Who we are
Luca Johannes Bradley Conarroe, a natural person trading as K67, makes and sells the K67 app. In this policy, "we" means Luca Johannes Bradley Conarroe. You can reach us at
What the app keeps on your phone
K67 saves these things in the app's own storage on your iPhone:
- the licence code you picked (Code 1, 2 or 3)
- which questions you have answered, how often you got each one right, and your streaks
- your mock test results, and any mock test you have not finished
- your haptics and appearance settings
K67 sends none of this to us or to anyone else. We have no server and no way to read it.
What the app does not do
- It has no accounts or sign-in.
- It has no analytics, advertising or tracking, and no third-party code that collects data.
- It makes no network requests. You can use it with no connection.
- It asks for no permissions: no location, contacts, camera, microphone or photos.
The app links to three websites: natis.gov.za (in the disclaimer), Wikimedia Commons (in Settings › About › Sign images), and this website (its privacy, terms and support pages). Nothing loads until you tap a link. Each website's own privacy policy then applies.
Deleting your data
You control all of it, because it sits on your phone.
- In the app, go to Settings › Reset progress. This deletes your answers, streaks, mock test results and licence choice, and turns Haptics back on. Your appearance setting stays.
- Delete the K67 app from your iPhone to remove everything it saved.
We hold no copy, so you have nothing to ask us to delete.
Apple
You buy and download K67 through Apple's App Store. Apple handles your payment and your Apple Account under Apple's privacy policy. Apple does not give us your name, email address or payment details. Apple may show us sales and usage totals that do not identify you.
This website
Cloudflare hosts this website. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes standard request data, such as your IP address, to deliver the pages to you. The site sets no cookies and has no analytics. It runs two small scripts. One draws our contact details on the page so that automated scrapers cannot copy them. The other checks whether you use an Android phone, so the page can show the right download note. Neither script stores or sends anything.
If you email us
When you email us, we receive your email address, your message and anything you attach. We use them only to answer you, and, if we refund you, the bank details you give us only to pay that refund. Giving them is voluntary, but without them we cannot reply or pay you. Our email is hosted by Microsoft, which may store it outside South Africa under its data-protection terms. We delete support emails 12 months after we resolve them, and bank details once the refund is paid. We share them with no one else. If you are under 18, please ask a parent or guardian to email us with you.
Young users
South African law lets a person get a learner's licence from age 16 for a small motorcycle, 17 for a light motor vehicle and 18 for other vehicles (National Road Traffic Act 93 of 1996, section 15(1)(a)). Some K67 users will be under 18. The app collects nothing from any user, of any age, so it needs no consent from a parent or guardian. For email, read "If you email us" above.
Your rights
The Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA) gives you the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, and to object to our use of it. From the app, we hold none. If you have emailed us, write to
You can complain to the Information Regulator (South Africa): Woodmead North Office Park, 54 Maxwell Drive, Woodmead, Johannesburg 2191. Complaints: [email protected]. Enquiries: [email protected], 010 023 5200. Website: inforegulator.org.za.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update this page and the date at the top. If K67 ever starts to collect data, we will say so here and in the app before the change takes effect.
